NeerScan is another revolutionary product developed by Motras Scientific Instruments as an application oriented portable multi-parameter water analyzer with full integrated spectrophotometer & thermal printer.
This full integrated spectrophotometer allows NeerScan to use all types of reagents from variety of manufacturers.
NeerScan is compatible with widely available reagents used for point-of-source water testing, and can test on 24mm round cell cuvette, 10mm regular cuvette, 50mm long path cell rectangular cuvette, 12mm & 16mm test tube.
The software is open and new test/reagents technique can be added by the user directly.
Apart from photometric technique based test, NeerScan also integrates laboratory grade pH, TDS, Turbidity, Temperature sensors to record & print all parameters of water testing on the spot with GPS integration.
The polychromator is based on our ALPHACAPTURE platform.
The above diagram shows the internals of the system. The light enters through a slit and is collected by a collimating mirror, received by the Grating and focused by a focusing mirror over the detector. Usage of special metal alloy with lowest thermal expansion coefficient allows stable results in huge temperature ranges
